David and Melia Rosenburg, plaintiffs, brought this action against Lincoln Ameri can Life Insurance Company (“Lincoln”), defendant, alleging that Lincoln contracted to provide life insurance for them and their children and that Lincoln engaged in unreasonable and vexatious conduct in denying their claim for benefits following the death of one of their children. The plaintiffs also alleged that Lincoln engaged in fraud during the insurance application process.
