This is a suit in equity, brought by the appellee in the District Court of the United States for the Northern District of West Virginia, for the purpose of enforcing a mechanic’s lien against certain real estate belonging to appellant and situated in the city of Grafton, Taylor county, W. Va., and on which there had been erected by the appellee for the appellant a large building known as the Willard Hotel.
