Lavoi Corporation d/b/a EPI Breads (“Lavoi”) filed an action against National Fire Insurance of Hartford, Continental Casualty Company (both insurance companies are collectively referred to herein as “CNA”), and Robert Holman, alleging that the insurers acted in bad faith when they failed to indemnify Lavoi for two separate losses and that Holman, as Lavoi’s insurance agent, failed to obtain proper and adequate insurance.
