Appellants Jesse and Verda Winchel appeal from a judgment entered against them and Winchel Enterprises, Inc., joindy and severally, in the amount of $19,250, plus costs. The damages were assessed for an injury sustained by the appellee caused, in part, by Winchel Enterprises, Inc. The appellants were found liable under the doctrine of “piercing the corporate veil.” On appeal the appellants argue only two points: (1) the trial court lacked subject-matter jurisdiction to decide the issue of piercing the corporate veil; and (2) the trial court erred in denying their motion…
