I.THE APPEAL

Defendants-appellants, Mary Jenks and Dale Madison, appeal from their convictions in the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas for two counts each of tampering with evidence. R.C. 2921.12(A).

Appellants were indicted by the Grand Jury on October 26,1988 and, after entering pleas of not guilty, stood trial from July 5, 1988 to July 29,1988, when the jury returned guilty verdicts on all four counts.
