WEIER, Judge.

Defendant was charged and convicted of common assault. The penalty imposed was a fine of $100. From the conviction, defendant has appealed raising five contentions of trial court error.

Defendant first contends that the trial court erred when it denied the defendant’s motions for judgment of acquittal and for new trial because the State failed to prove the defendant guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
