The plaintiff alleges, that he is the owner of three slaves purchased at a sale made by the marshal of the United States, under an execution in his own favor against the Clinton and Port Hudson Railroad Company, obtained in the Circuit Court of the United States, whom he alleges that Lafayette Saunders, Robert Perry, and David J. FIuker, as commissioners appointed to liquidate the affairs of the Railroad Company, have in their possession, and refuse to deliver to him.
