TOM GRAY, Justice.

Unhappy with an arbitration award, Peacock filed a petition in the trial court to modify or vacate it. The trial court confirmed the award. Peacock appeals the judgment and contends: 1) that the trial court erred in refusing to vacate the arbitration award as void (a) for want of finality, and (b) for going beyond the scope of the arbitration agreement; 2) that the trial court (a) used the wrong standard of review, and (b) should have vacated the award for misconduct by the arbitrator; and 3) that the trial court abused its discretion in denying a motion for new trial…
