Appellant was committed to the California Youth Authority after the juvenile court found true allegations that he had committed attempted murder (Pen. Code, §§ 187, 664), and assault by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury (Pen. Code, § 245, subd. (a)(1)). The court also found true allegations that appellant had personally inflicted great bodily injury (Pen. Code, §§ 1203, subd. (e)(3), 12022.7) and personally used a knife (Pen. Code, § 12022, subd.
