MEMORANDUM OF OPINION

ALLAN L. GROPPER, Bankruptcy Judge.

The Court has consolidated for decision two related motions. In the first, the Association of Flight Attendants — CWA, AFL-CIO (“AFA”) has moved for relief from an order, dated July 5, 2006 (the “July 5 Order”), granting the application of Debtor Northwest Airlines Corporation (“Northwest” or the “Debtor”) to reject its collective bargaining agreement with AFA. In the second motion, the Debtor is seeking to expunge two proofs of claim filed by AFA, each in the amount of $1.2 billion, and AFA has responded. 1 The Court recognizes the…
