Plaintiff appellee, Britta Bandolph, as administratrix of the estate of Howard Bandolph, deceased, on behalf of herself, her six minor children, and her two adult children, brought an action at law against the defendant appellant, the New York Central Bailroad Company, to recover damages for her husband’s death on October 14, 1945, when a truck owned and operated by bim was struck by a train operated by the defendant at'a'street crossing within the corporate limits of Harrisburg, Illinois.
