This is an action for damages to personal property, alleged to have been the result of negligence on the part of defendant. The circumstances out of which the action arose are as follows:
The plaintiff owns and operates a garage and filling station at the northeast corner of Second avenue and Bell street, in Seattle. The building is two stories in height, and has two vehicular entrances on Bell street.
