Annie Caldwell came to the home of Bailey about noon. Bailey had not seen Theresa Johnson that day. Annie remained about two hours, and at that time Theresa passed. Bailey heard her speak, but did not see her. She went across the branch to the home of Mary Kelley. In about forty or fifty minutes Annie returned to Bailey’s house. She was alone. Theresa also arrived from a different direction from that in which Annie came.
