The appellant, Brian Patrick Love, was convicted of robbery in the first degree, a violation of § 13A-8-41, Code of Alabama 1975. He was sentenced to 30 years' imprisonment.

The state's evidence tended to show that on December 14, 1993, three men, one armed with a pistol, robbed Thomas Kilgore, manager of the Winn Dixie grocery store on Blue Springs Road in Huntsville. The three men entered the store and two of the men proceeded to the office area of the store, where they found the manager.
