The relators seek a writ of prohibition alleging that respondent circuit judge acted in excess of his jurisdiction by transferring the underlying cause of action from Jefferson County, Missouri, to Cole County, Missouri, pursuant to section 476.410, RSMo *101Supp.1992.1 The basis of the motion was the claim that under section 226.100 the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission (“Commission”) can be sued only in Cole County. The preliminary rule in prohibition is made absolute.
