Pursuant to Supreme Court Rule 604(a)(1) (134 Ill. 2d R. 604(a)(1)), the State takes an interlocutory appeal of the circuit court’s order of April 8, 1991, which quashed the State’s subpoena ckices tecum, and resulted in the suppression of the evidence sought by the subpoena. Defendant, Donald P. Kaiser, had moved to suppress the subpoena and suppress the evidence sought on the basis that the State’s use of the subpoena procedure to obtain his medical records was improper and sought to obtain privileged matter.
