OPINION OF THE COURT

GREENBERG, Circuit Judge.

This matter comes on before this court on an appeal from an order of the District Court of the Virgin Islands revoking appellant Wilhelm Martinez’s probation and sentencing him to custodial terms. Martinez had served consecutive six-month terms of custodial confinement for assault in the third degree and burglary in the third degree and was on probation when the district court revoked his probation because, before it revoked his probation, he had violated certain of its terms and conditions.
