Haymond, Judge:

The defendant, Okey Hudson, having been found guilty by a jury, in the Intermediate Court of Kanawha County, of violating Section 11, Article 10, Chapter 25, Acts of the Legislature, 1939, was, on February 7, 1945, sen tenced to pay a fine of $500.00, to confinement in the county jail for twelve months, and to work upon the roads of the county during the term of his imprisonment and until the payment of the fine and the costs. The Circuit Court of Kanawha County, by order entered May 14, 1945, denied his petition for a writ of error and supersedeas to the foregoing judgment on…
