The circuit court of Cook County granted Mid-Continental Realty Corporation (hereinafter plaintiff) injunctive relief restraining certain county officials (hereinafter defendants) from collecting 1971 real estate taxes on plaintiff’s properties based on increased assessments made by the County Assessor (Assessor) which the court determined to be unauthorized by law and constructively fraudulent.
