Memorandum: Defendant appeals from a judgment convicting him upon a jury verdict of two counts of criminal possession of *1460a forged instrument in the second degree (Penal Law § 170.25) and one count each of petit larceny (§ 155.25) and attempted petit larceny (§§ 110.00, 155.25). We reject defendant’s contention that the verdict is against the weight of the evidence. Although there was conflicting testimony and thus “an acquittal would not have been unreasonable” (People v Danielson, 9 NY3d 342, 348 [2007]; see generally People v Bleakley, 69 NY2d 490, 495 [1987]), we conclude that, “[b]ased on…
