The Bowling Green & Madisonville Railroad Company was incorporated by an act of the legislature, approved the 22d day of March, 1871, with all the rights, privileges, and franchises belonging to the Cincinnati, Glasgow & Bowling Green Railroad Company, incorporated on the 21st of March, 1870, the charter of the one being adopted by the act as the charter of the other “ as far as the same is applicable,” etc. The sixteenth section of this act incorporating the Cincinnati, Glasgow & Bowling Green Railroad Company provides “that whenever the said…
