Plaintiff The Charter Oak Fire Insurance Company, as subrogee of Hulis and Saliha Mavruk (“Charter Oak” or “plaintiff’), brought this action against Electrolux Home Products, Inc. (“Electrolux” or “defendant”), claiming that Electrolux’s design of its dryers is defective. Charter Oak alleges theories of strict liability and negligence.
