Defendant in error employed plaintiffs in error, agreeing to give them a certain commission if they would procure a buyer ready, willing, and able to purchase 2,500’ acres of land owned by him situated in Cameron county. In pursuance of this contract, plaintiffs in error procured the James-Dickinson Farm Mortgage Company, a private corporation, as a purchaser; terms of sale were agreed upon and embodied in a written contract between the corporation and the owner of the land.
