|,In 2012, appellant Jerry Dewayne Savage was convicted of three counts of second-degree sexual assault and sentenced as a habitual offender to an aggregate term of 720 months’ imprisonment in the Arkansas Department of Correction. The Arkansas Court of Appeals affirmed. Savage v. State, 2013 Ark. App. 133, 2013 WL 749779. Appellant filed in the trial court a timely petition for postconviction relief under Arkansas Rule of Criminal Procedure 37.1 (2014), and the trial court denied the petition without a hearing.
