On Monday, August 30, 1999, at 4:20 p.m., T.N., T.B. and M.S. were arrested pursuant to La. R.S. 14:103, disturbing the peace by engaging in a fistic encounter. On December 29, 1999, the three juveniles were charged. A pre-trial conference was held on January 28, 2000, and a trial date was set for February 8, 2000. At the pretrial conference, the trial court said that the juveniles were submitting to mediation and that if no subsequent incidents occurred that he would dismiss their case.
