Respondent moves to affirm the judgment upon the ground that appellant’s brief does not comply with the provisions of section 953c of the Code of Civil Procedure, and does not comply with the requirements of rule VIII governing such appeals, and upon the further ground that the appeal is not meritorious, was not taken in good faith and has not been prosecuted with reasonable diligence.
