Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Queens County (Braun, J.), rendered January 20, 2004, convicting him of robbery in the second degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

Contrary to the defendant’s contention, the Supreme Court providently exercised its discretion in discharging a sworn juror before the commencement of deliberations.
