John J. Cline was a resident of Clarksville, Arkansas, and, during his lifetime, owned substantial timber acreage in Madison County. This acreage included approximately 760 acres, which is the subject of the present litigation. On July 25, 1961, a suit was filed in the Madison County Chancery Court in behalf of Cline to quiet title to approximately 2,040 acres of land in that county.
