This litigation between the Curtiss-Wright Corporation and the Village of Garden City concerns the use to which the Curtiss-Wright- plant may be put and the effect thereon of certain zoning ordinances.

On December 27, 1917, the Garden City Company which originally owned most of Garden City, sold the Curtiss Engi*509neering Company, predecessor of Curtiss-Wright Corporation, twenty acres at the corner of Clinton and Stewart Avenues.
