CRANDALL, Chief Judge.

Defendant, Denny Clayton, appeals from his conviction, after a jury trial, of leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident, a class D felony. § 577.060, RSMo (1986). Defendant was sentenced to imprisonment for three years. We affirm.

Viewed in a light most favorable to the conviction, the evidence is that during the early evening of January 14, 1990, defendant was operating a motor vehicle with a passenger which ran a stop sign at the intersection of Chippewa and Nebraska in the City of St. Louis.
