Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Tompkins County (Barrett, J.), rendered April 11, 1995, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crimes of kidnapping in the first degree, robbery in the first degree, sodomy in the first degree (four counts) and rape in the first degree (three counts).
Defendant was convicted of one count of kidnapping in the *579first degree, one count of robbery in the first degree, four counts of sodomy in the first degree and three counts of rape in the first degree. Upon his conviction, he was sentenced to prison terms of 20 years to life on the kidnapping…
