At this year’s primary election in Pike County, James B. Stephenson received the Democratic nomination for the office of Circuit Judge of Pike County, Division No. 1, and B. B. Followay received the Republican nomination for that office. F. Pierce Keesee had sought the Democratic nomination for Circuit Judge, Division No. 2, but was defeated. Some time after the primary Followay withdrew as a candidate.
