On the 27th day of June, 1899, Gr. M. Grillaspy was appointed as guardian of his three minor children by the chancery court of Newton county. At the time of the appointment there seems to have been' very little personal estate for him to take charge of, and the court required only a five hundred dollar bond to be executed for each child. It appears that each of these bonds had the same sureties. It appears that, after the guardian assumed the duties as such, he paid little attention to his accounting with the court for a long while, and there seems not to have been much necessity for the…
