The appellants sold and conveyed to the Tazewell Timber Corporation, by deed bearing date March 20, 1920, the standing timber on a boundary of 5,500 acres of land in Tazewell county, Virginia, and by the same instrument leased to the timber corporation several adjacent small parcels of land for mill sites, storage and other purposes connected with the sawmill operations. The consideration of the deed was $142,524.32, of which $45,433.50 was paid in cash, and for the residue credit was extended for one, two and three years for equal instalments thereof, with interest from date.
