Watts, Jr. (‘Watts”) appeals from the decision of the United States Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences (“the Board”) affirming the rejection of claims 2, 3, 5, 6, 9, 17-21, 23, 30, 31, 34-39, 41-43, 45-47, 49-51, 53-55, 57-59, 61-63, 65-67 and 71-73 of United States Patent Application No. 08/568,-904 (the “'904 application”) under 35 U.S.C. § 103.
