I. Nature of the Case

This appeal involves a medical malpractice claim brought against a chiropractor for negligently causing a patient to suffer a stroke after treatment. On or about June 4, 2007, Appellant, Martha Arregui, sought treatment for her neck and back pain from the Respondent, a local chiropractor, Dr. Rosalinda Gallegos-Main.
