We awarded this appeal to consider whether the trial court’s admission of certain expert testimony introduced by the Commonwealth constituted reversible error.

A jury assembled in the Circuit Court of the County of Henrico found that “[djuring the period September, 1992 through March, 1993 . . . James Lloyd Jenkins did . . . commit aggravated sexual battery on ... a male minor child under the age of thirteen years old . . .
