GILLEY, Judge:
Pursuant to appellant’s pleas, the military judge found him guilty of desertion, absence without leave, larceny, and wrongfully opening and stealing another’s mail, in violation of Uniform Code of Military Justice, arts. 85, 86, 121, and 134, 10 U.S.C. §§ 885, 886, 921, and 934 (1982) [hereinafter UCMJ].
