The plaintiff in error was convicted of murder in the first degree upon an information filed against him *72in the circuit court of Marathon county. Upon the application of the plaintiff in error the place of trial was changed to La Crosse, county. The change was made on the ground of the alleged prejudice of the judge of the circuit court of Marathon county.
