BAKER, Judge.

The appellant was convicted in the County „ Court of McLennan County for unlawfully carrying a pistol, and his punishment assessed at a fine of §100.

The record discloses that on Wednesday night, preceding the arrest of the appellant on the following Friday night, a' note demanding the payment of §5,000.00 and threatening violence in the event of noncompliance was thrown on the porch of the residence of Mr. Seley, president of a bank in Waco.
