Plaintiff-appellant Rhoda Tang (“Tang”), an Asian-American employee of the Rhode Island Department of Elderly Affairs (“Department”), filed a complaint against the Department 1 alleging racial and gender discrimination, harassment and retaliation. During the course of litigation, the district court excluded certain evidence, granted judgment as a matter of law for the Department, and granted attorney’s fees to the Department.
