The defendant Maimonides Medical Center (hereinafter Maimonides) discharged the plaintiff after investigating a sexual harassment complaint against him. The defendant Rosemarie Baugh, a Maimonides employee, brought the complaint against the plaintiff in his capacity as her supervisor. In this defamation action, the plaintiff has sued Baugh, individually, and has pleaded five causes of action against Maimonides.
