—In an action to recover damages for personal injuries, etc., the plaintiffs appeal from an order of the Supreme Court, Suffolk County (Eerier, J.), dated February 26, 2001, which granted the motion of the defendant Village of Amityville for summary judgment dismissing the complaint insofar as asserted against it and the separate motion of the defendant Amityville Union Free School District to dismiss the complaint insofar as asserted against it on the ground that the notice of claim was deficient, and denied their cross motion for leave to serve an amended notice of claim.
