—In an action for a divorce and ancillary relief, the defendant appeals, as limited by his brief, from so much of a judgment of the Supreme Court, Suffolk County (Lifson, J.), dated September 30, 1997, as awarded custody of the parties’ infant daughter to the plaintiff, and awarded the plaintiff equitable distribution in the sum of $84,089 and counsel fees in the sum of $28,769.52.

Ordered that the judgment is modified, on the law, by (1) deleting from the 15th decretal paragraph thereof the sum of $84,089 and substituting therefor the sum of $18,916, and (2) deleting the 16th decretal…
