This is a suit brought July 29, 1980, against, the members of the School Board of Sedalia by resident tax-paying citizens of one of the subdivisions of the Sedalia School District, being a ward school and known as the “Arlington School,” which has heretofore, for twenty-four years, been maintained as a primary ward school, but which the board is about to abandon and no longer maintain, thereby requiring the children of that ward school to attend school at other schoolhouses in other parts of the city.
