The Chicago & Northwestern Railway Company, the claimant-appellee aforesaid, operates a railway line extending from Onawa eastward through Castaña, in Monona County. For. convenience, the appellee hereinafter will be referred to as the claimant. During all the times here material, the claimant employed an agent at its depot in Castaña. Also, throughout the time here discussed, there was a bank in said town known as the Castaña Savings Bank.
