In a visitation proceeding pursuant to Family Court Act article 6, the father appeals from an order of the Supreme Court, Kings County (IDV Fart) (Morgenstern, J.), dated February 16, 2012, which dismissed his petition for visitation with the subject children on the ground of lack of jurisdiction.
Ordered that the order is reversed, on the law and in the exercise of discretion, without costs or disbursements, the petition is reinstated, and the matter is remitted to the Supreme Court, Kings County (IDV Fart), for further proceedings pursuant to Domestic Relations Law § 76-f (3).
