Fokt, J.. The plaintiff in error was indicted in the Court of Oyer and Terminer of the county of Camden for the murder of his wife, Edith Hill. On a traverse of the indictment the jury found him guilty of murder in the first degree, and, upon that conviction, sentence of death was pronounced.

By the writ of error in this case the entire record is brought to this court for review, pursuant to the statute. Pamph. L. 1898, p. 915, § 136. To the charge there was a general exception taken and several exceptions to the admission of evidence. The assignments…
