¶1 After a bench trial, the trial court found Gerald Enquist guilty of one count of failing to register as a sex offender. He appeals, arguing that the transient sex offender registration statute violates ex post facto principles and his right to travel. We hold that the transient sex offender registration requirements are a legitimate and necessary aid to law enforcement, are not unduly burdensome, and do not unconstitutionally limit transient sex offenders’ right to travel.
