CRIST, Judge.

Appeal from the denial, after an eviden-tiary hearing, of a Rule 27.26 motion. We affirm.

In January of 1981, defendant was convicted of burglary in the second degree and stealing a firearm. The convictions were affirmed by this court on direct appeal. State v. Maddox, 658 S.W.2d 74 (Mo.App. 1983). On July 11, 1984, movant filed a Rule 27.26 motion pro se. Counsel was appointed and duly filed an amended motion. An evidentiary hearing was held, the *11court filed findings of fact and conclusions of law, and denied the motion.
